Laura Lanier Kinslow began her education as a Southland Academy kindergarten student at the Montezuma campus and is proud to be a Southland Academy alumna. She has been a faculty member of the GISA for 32 years and a part of the Raider Family for 27 years. Laura graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Education Degree with an emphasis in Language Arts and earned her Master of Education degree in School Counseling from Albany State University. Laura’s husband Ty Kinslow, also a Southland Academy graduate, is Senior Vice President for Communications at Magnolia Manor. They have two children. Their son Banks lives in Auburn, AL, and is Senior Associate with Willis Towers Watson Southeast, Inc. Kathleen, a 2018 Southland graduate, is a senior at Auburn University majoring in Rehabilitation and Disabilities Studies. Mrs. Kinslow has enjoyed serving the Southland Academy Community as the Lower School Director since 2012. “My greatest joy is watching our students grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. The students continue to be the reason I love being in education and love Southland Academy.”
